Layer of coco fiber, some mulch sprinkled. But ever sense I switched his bedding he just won't sleep under his log anymore. Any ideas for me?

Just one. Relax. Why does he have to sleep under his log? Just in case. Did you move the log? Mine sometimes sleep in the same spot for weeks at a time and then suddenly they move to a different spot. It could be that he is feeling more secure or the temps are such that he doesn't need to sleep under anything. How are his other activities? Eating? Drinking? Pooping? Is it humid under his log? Slow down. Breath. And then enjoy your tortoise. :)

Just move the log over to the corner where he likes to sleep. They usually do pick a corner. And push it up against the wall so there isn't a way out at the other end.
