Both Lowes and home depot sell this , its made to dim lamps but it can also be used to control heat lamps\heat tape. It is very cheap and very low tech. The prices and abilities can range widely by brand, as well as that some of them are pulse proportional and some of them are just on\ off thermostats. Usually the on\off thermostats are sufficient in most tortoise enclosures.
