We have had our ~2 yr old Sullies outside full time for the last week or so. They decided to try their luck at digging and boy are they good. I found this today....

When I first saw them, they were both digging in the same place. By the time I found the camera they had a cozy little den going. it look like it will cost me a snapdragon:rolleyes:...it's worth it to watch them act like big Sullies.

That's pretty neat. Those are some pretty smooth two year olds. They look great. How big are they? Daisy, my three year old has never tried to dig. My 9 month olds haven't tried yet either.

Thanks Tom,

They are almost 2 yrs old. one is slightly larger than the other at 4.5" the smaller sully is just a tad over 4". I am sure the main reason for them digging is the ground was nice and soft at the base of that snapdragon.

They have been kept indoors in a rubbermaid tub (with a basking spot of 115*). Cypress mulch, a hugely varied diet, 24hr access to water, misted 3+ a day and a weekly trip outside for sun and excercise.

Mick, those are great results from a pretty moderate approach. You've set a great example there. I'd love to see more pics of them.
