Well, as most of you know, I asked for info on these succulants to put in my tank...

I put everything in my tank except the big prickly cactus and my Vivarium looks very nice, but now I have a problem! I have been trying to get Eros and Gaia to eat a Little Mazuri as a susitute for just strait Spring Mix.

I now know why my mom always hated it when we had fruit trees going in our yard our wild fruit in the Jungle (Panama)

How do you contend with this? So far, I cant get Gaia to even try the Mazuri! On the other hand Eros likes it only "So-so" and finds the Suculents great napping areas!

Fresh is Better!

Before I put these 2 in there, I had 3 types of lettuse and some spinich planted, they ate all that before they would eat the store bought spring mix!

What's the problem? If your tortoises like it, they like it. That's good. If they're eating too much, I suggest you grow it in a little pot, so you can take it out as needed.

The problem is not that they liks it, the problem is that while it is in there they eat nothing else.

However, they have since lost thier novelty and it is back to eating whats on the plate in the morning and nibbling on the succulents during the rest of the day... so now it's not quite the problem it was...:D

Just soften up the pellets in water, warm water works faster.
then mush it in with the greens for the day, they will acquire a back for it :)
