My Russian came to me not ever having UVB and I have noticed she looks a bit darker now. Do they get tortoise equivalents to sun tans?

No, they tend to get darker when exposed to natural sunlight VS lamps. There are quite a few pics of sulatas here changing shell color after being introduced to natural sunlight, but t is not a suntan like humans get.

I noticed the area where I have her and Henry's cages actually does get a lot of natural sunlight in the mornings. Henry was doing a double bask this morning. he was basking where the sun comes in that is also where his basking lamp sits. Betty's (my Russian) basking spot is where the sun comes in.

His entire enclosure does not get the sun does it? The window can accelerate the temps quickly....just needed to share is all :p

Ditto to ascott's post, and they also do not get UVB through glass or plastic.

Neither of their cages are in full sun. They are tucked back in a corner and go out so the corners of their cages don't get full sun. They will always be in a heated/air conditioned room also.

Oh and she is definitely getting darker. I am the only albino left here :(

I do think they change color from being in the sun a lot, but they will not change color from getting sun through a window.

We have been getting her out into the sun when possible. She loves being outside with all of the delicious food she can find. :)

This is just one of the best things you can do for a tortoise...
