Thanks, believe it or not she never uses the hide at all! She spends most of her time just eating and soaking up the sun.Just love the hide! I know my Russian would never come out of it if he had one just like it.

Yes it seems she stays away from any type of hideout. I will start putting her inside every now and then.Most baby sulcatas avoid any sort of tunnel or hole in the ground as if there were a tortoise eating monster in there. Well in Africa, there likely IS a tortoise eating monster of some sort in every hole!
In time they get comfortable with the idea that there is no tortoise eating monster in THIS particular hole and they will start using it more and more. I would gently place the baby in there from time to time and let them walk out on their own.
