My father has a Sulcata tortoise and he feeds it spring mix with vitamins, dandelions, and hay and I have an Iguana who I feed Watercress, Turnip Greens, Snap peas, Parsnip, Okra, Mustard Greens, Squashes, Green Beans, Endive, Dandelion, and Collard Greens. I know there 2 different species I was wondering if any of those are ok to feed to the sulcata because both of are reptiles are small at the moment and we waste a lot of food? The Sulcata we got at the reptile show the owner only told us only about the top things and I use http://www.greenigsociety.org/foodchart.htm for my iguana.

Hi Spencer206:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

All of the foods you feed your lizard are also good to feed the tortoise. I would not offer the beans, peas or parsnips often, just occasionally.

Here's a thread that gives many, many types of plants/foods for grazing tortoises:

What would you like us to call you?

...and may we know appx. where in the world you are?
