I've replaced Chives plastic dish with a piece of slate, can anyone tell me which garden herbs (if any) are suitable food stuffs, as I'm a keen gardener and have lots - mint, oregano, sage, chives, parsley, salad burnett, rosemary, sweet cicely, basil and bay.

I know there are safe ones, i'm not personally sure which, but I know most peoples tortoises wont touch them since they have such a strong flavor

Agreed :D but if yours won't eat any, still success. Unattractive plants (to mr tort) for decoration!

Yep, my tortoise will not eat them but they do make great enclosure plants just for that reason. Russians are very hard on their plants :) so it's nice to be able to plant some they won't destroy, well at least that they want to eat. they might still walk over it but they are more likely just to hide under it.
