Suggestions on What to Plant for Sulcata

Good evening, everyone! I live in Southern California and was wondering if anyone on the forum had ideas for some staple plants to grow in pots on my balcony for hatchling Sulcatas. The babies should be hatching around August and I want to establish some quality food sources for them that I can grow at home to save money in the long run. If anyone has any experience growing plants for their Sulcatas that are also appealing to have in pots around the house, I would love some suggestions!

I had a look on sulcatafood.com , they do a dwarf elephant grass that I would not mind getting but cannot find it in the U.K.
