Hi everybody,

I am really curious to know which subspecies of T. Horsfieldii I have.

My best guess, after reading the thread of EgyptianDan here is that she is T. H. Horsfieldii.

I'd love to hear your opinions and thoughts.

Take care,

Joey

Today you can't indetify the subspecies of horsfildi without the knowledge where are they from. You can identify fresh WC animals when you know their habitat country. But I think the animals which came in the USA or in other countries many years ago mixed up between the subspecies so that you haven't got clear characteristics to distinguish the different subspecies today.
I heard a presentation last year about the Russian and their habitats. Even you know the habitat it would be very difficult to distinguish the subspecies from each other.

I will probably never know. But characteristic wise, she is T.H.Horsfieldii, I love her very much.

I know what you mean by asking though, I like to know everything I can about franklin even if its irrelevant to care per-say, just because I like to know everything I can about my specific munchkin. I also believe my 'Nank is T.H. Horsfieldii, hes so very round :)
