Stupid question

I have a stupid question for everyone. i see people say they have
1.0.0 red foot or 0.1.0 something. my question is what do the numbers mean. i think i used to know it but as im getting older things just seem to slip my mind.
Thanks ooops i just realized i posted this in the diet section. i do have one more question. are cactus pads good for red foots.

0.2.0 - two female
0.0.3 - three unknown gender

so when you see 2.4.8 it means two male, four female, eight unknown gender
