This is the time of year to grad the biggest ones they make.. Christmas tree totes.. they make great hatchling enclosures..

Yes, its much bigger than that, and the sides aren't as tall:

When mine came in the mail, I un-boxed it in my home office and stood it up next to the 4-drawer metal filing cabinet. It was as tall and the filing cabinet.

How funny...I just did a GOOGLE image search for "Christmas Tree Storage bin by Iris" and this is what comes up as the first picture (post #8)

Silly Me, I used Laura's phrase "Christmas tree totes" in Kmart's search and got plastic bags with suitcase handles.

I did look further, but only came up with the very large <Size: 42.7" x 21.4" x 18"> which for $36 is OK. But Home Depot's <http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-25e...eyword=rubbermaid&storeId=10051#.UN0ow5PjkoY> for $20 is better for the same 54 (Home Depot says 54, not 50 gallons if it's the same one?) gallon tote I gave a link to.

The box emysemys talks about is 52.3" x 20.31" x 14.3" and I found it at <http://www.neatlysmart.com/catalog/item.aspx?sku=24433&gclid=CPa6mJirvLQCFWlxQgodnysA4A> mail order for $35.

So the xmas tree box is long enough to receive a 4 foot tube fixture, however as it is clear plastic, UV either by the sun or some bulb/tube will deteriorate the plastic and make is brittle.

It's a pretty simple thing to be specific and use links to actual points of information, please do that, please. Quoting one non referenced link within the TFP does not count. I guess I'm silly and lazy hugh!

So emysemys how did those turtles taste, I see the box is on a stove?

My mistake... the rubbermaid container IS 54 gal and not 50 gal. but reasonably priced at $19.97. The bottom is gray and the cover is black. The box emysemys talks about is 52.3" x 20.31" x 14.3" and I found it at <http://www.neatlysmart.com/catalog/item.aspx?sku=24433&gclid=CPa6mJirvLQCFWlxQgodnysA4A> mail order for $35.
