Although the color on the head of a female is not as vivid.. it's often difficult to determine which is which at a glance.. the females are much 'wider'.. but they all have these "spurs" on their front legs! [ she? was movin'-on so not the best pic ]

Outside their hide full of leaves.. a glimpse of their "Spur-thigh" --
