Here is a video I made last week depicting my little setup. Notice the land section with plants. Both land and water section have since been filled with oak leaves and oak branches to help the turtles feel secure, and to add tannins to the water.

Thanks! Other than that I don't have much else for them besides juvenile setups that you've probably seen. Maybe I can find an old thread from another forum where I show a setup I used back in 2009ish.

Nope, haha. Couldn't find it :-(

So since I plan to start out with a hatchling I was thinking a ten gallon tank. I was going to use sand as substrate a piece of driftwood for the tannins and for basking. A twenty gallon whisper filter. I also gave some questions about the setup.

1. What live plants should I use
2. With that sized filter will it keep it pretty clean. I don't want to do very many complete water changes.
3. Would it be ok for me to Feed it outside of the tank
4. How much should I feed it I plan on using reptomin and blood worms
5. Would snails help clean and provide food or just be annoying
6. Besides feeding is there any other daily responsibilities
