I noticed this today!! What could this be??? He was mounting a female from the wrong end and she started pushing him (I’m guessing it’s what caused the bleeding) and that’s wat brought my attention to it. I have no idea on ho one it’s been there but the wound itself looks old(?) the fact that it’s following the scute lines has me very concerned. Any and all help is appreciated!

I believe when he was dismounting the female, he may have come down hard. I guessing at 15 yrs old, he has some weight on his. With his plastron being concave, the force of his weight hitting the ground could of caused the plastron to give at the new growth line. I would just try to keep it clean and continue soaks and put some neosporin on it. Keep him away from his girlfriend for awhile. LOL!
