RE: What kind of turtle is this?

Are there other pictures? It could be a ttbt or a tan phase gcbt. But without additional pictures I can't say 100%.

Hi cbermudez:

Because you are a brand new member, you probably don't realize that it is not good Forum etiquette to tack your question onto someone else's thread. For this reason, I've split off your question and made it stand alone. You will receive more answers to your question this way.

Because of the shape of the turtle, I'm going to say that it is a gulf coast box turtle - Terrapene carolina major. It might also be a three-toed box turtle - Terrapene carolina triunguis, but I really think its a gulf coast.

Same with everyone else, looks like a three toe to me because of the coloration, but I'm not sure.

I'd say an intergrade between a three toed and gulf coast.
