I have one and he seems ok he likes to explore so an interesting habitat is important, I looked on line for average temps and humidity levels for Greece and used that data as my guide, mines a friendly little thing likes his food and warm baths. I find I don't need any extra heating apart from his basking light, and I obviously use a UVB light.
Mine is very social and sweet. Their food is the same as a Russian but they do need more humidity. Mine loves his baths and also drinks almost his whole bowl of water daily. I just posted a pic of my hens in the photo forum.
