sphagmum moss

Hello
I tried to put sphagmum Moss in Hermy's enclosure and he was eating it as if it was cactus pear! So I removed it. Should I try to put some again or could it be dangerous for Hermy to eat that. I am really clueless, I want to make her a humid hide but it is kind of hard, I cant put a wet sponge since he found a way to eat it.

The moss won't hurt him. In one end out the other. The only thing is no nutriative value at all. I'd just use it in the hide.
