Hanging out after a meal under one of his heat lamps.

On the right is the original hide my fiance built into the table (the cover is lifted) in anticipation for his fast growth, but for the meantime, I made him the little hide/burrow on the left. We have a 75W ceramic heat bulb next to it that is turned on on cold nights and the dirt covering it keeps the humidity high (40-80%).

He's got some angel plants, an aloe plant, a succulent agave cactus, and some cactus with a pink fruit (which he loves as a treat).
View of the pool that he gets to by climbing over his little hill. He goes in the pool and flaps his front legs back and forth, splashing water on his back!

View of the light setup: 2 150W heat with UVB lamps, a 10.0 UVB linear bulb, a 60W white flood light in the dining room, and the ceramic lamp in the back.

*And I love that its spring so I can pick them for free instead of buying them (buying weeds, craziness) or he can just walk around outside and munch.

Taking a nap at the entrance of his ride, ido.g a rock as a pillow. At night he walks all the way in and sighs a little bit, but lately, when he takes naps, he just lays like this. I love him so much.
Franklin has thrived and developed so much since my fiance and I adopted him and have him living in this table. I know he will grow even more once he goes outside, but I'm going to miss having him in my room. I hope everyone enjoys the pics and maybe get an idea for your tort's home.

Aww I can just see that walk in, sigh and plop down for a nap. Mine does this too, but he will not touch a dandelion, it's clover all the way, a little chickweed here and there.
