Soft shell turtle!

I really really REALLY want going to get a soft shell turtle sometime in my life, it can be years from now, but I was wondering if anybody had and information that they could share with me. I read somewhere that their hard pets to take care of. Is that true?

They're pretty aggressive towards other turtles...they must be kept in super clean water because they tend to get infections...their soft shells are susceptible to scrapes and cuts...

I also want to get one ! The other day I saw this pictures on Facebook and I just want to get a soft shell turtle so bad !! the second turtle its a cycloderma aubryi ,, the pictures are not mine I took them from Facebook !!

LoL same, plus, I already have enough responsibility with a sulcata tortoise plus my other pets.

I know exactly how u feel ! I have 2 female Russian tortoises , two red foot tortoises , a fish tank and a lizard that's a lot of responsibilities lol

WoW! That's a lot of responsibility! I have one sulcata, 2 cats, a fish, a huge thank of Madagascar hissing cockroaches, and I use to have 6 rats. So yah lol, it will be a while for a soft shell

2 Russians
1 snapping turtle
That's just me, everyone in my family has a pet of some sort.

Soft shells but they look cool!!

Soft shells are the best turtles, big, beautiful and easy to care for. They're not hard to care for, just require a little research, depending on what species you want, and being clever how you set them up. Keep them somewhere its easy to do water changes, the more the better. Tap water is the best, the chlorine helps keep fungus down and keeps the water longer. Another good trick is to not over feed them, not what they can eat but what they eat at one time. More smaller meals helps keep the water longer and save time. I keep over 40 soft shells and many different species. I recommend getting the enclosure set up and practice with it first, you'll find it's not so much hard as it is different. Softies are awesome and definitely worth the extra effort!!!!!!

In Dallas for $5!! I just don't know anything about them
And really want a sully next. Just Thot that was interesting and

U must live near me because I also saw that but I am more of a land turtle/tortoise person
