I received some hatchling sulcata tortoises last week and since it's been a few years since I've had youngsters that needed to be soaked I no longer had my old setup for soaking any longer. So I tried this. Corning Ware, I temp check their shell temps and start with water that's a little warmer than they are and put the cover on After a couple minutes the top cover is covered with water droplets Today I started with 91.5 degree water and after about 20 minutes it had fallen 5 degrees. It's simple but works better than my old system for soaking and the water stays warm longer.
