Snakes on a high tide

Kerry and I woke to waterfront property this morning on a Winter waterview yard! Kind of neat...the tide is very high.

So we walk to the waters edge in the backyard and I'm telling her how much I like this nature spot in the summer but that I have to be careful of snakes on this side, as I point, because they lay in the sun, like that one is doing there!
And just like that I saw one in the branches! Can you believe it? In January

We aren't as cold as you guys, but we get that here too. People think all the snakes are hibernating and then you see a rattlesnake sunning in January.

You're right Tom, I was surprised! The tides were really high after that big storm.
