Sleeping question

So I just got my Russian tortoise a couple of days ago and today he didn't get out of his little hole he burrowed himself into to
sleep. He did move around a little bit in it, but didn't even go eat. Is this normal or should I wake him up at all? Also I am keeping him indoors, I have the basking light, a uvb light and have the area at the appropriate temp.

They sometimes take a couple weeks to settle in, but in the mean time, what kind of light do you have?

What is the temperature on the floor of the habitat from one end to the other?

What kind of tub/container do you have him in?

How big/old is the tortoise?
