since digging his burrow, he only comes out in the evening now with the hot temps, but he no longer sweats? from his eyes , which he did all the time when he only had shade.

Thats very good, nothing like worrying about why there eyes are wet.
He is gorgeous.....my guys don't much come out till evening approaches either...too darn hot
