Shipping question,

Hi all, I saw Danny's wonderful shipping instructions, thank you.
I just wondered wether using hay instead of those peanuts would be OK? I have both, not the problem, just when I punched in so many holes(on both boxes) I thought the peanuts might act as more of a insulater(good) but not allow as much air in (bad).
And while I am asking, would slots be better than holes?

Hi Nadine,
I only punch 2 holes per side in the outside box. This lets air in but not enough to get them cold. I've never had a problem with air circulation using the peanuts.
