Shellys 1st Bath

I thought i would share shellys 1st bathing experiance! If you have any pics of your tort having a bath pls show them to us!

I would recommend bathing in a smaller container that isn't metal that is used just for her baths. I use a cat litter pan or other smaller tupperware. This way in addition to keeping the tort's contaminants separate from those than come in contact with your food (in the same way I have a separate dish brush for my tort and clean the sink after washing his stuff in it), the tort feels safer and warmer as it isn't metal. If you see her regularly using the dish in the enclosure, consider not force soaking. Up to you though. Best wishes.
