You may notice that one of the pictures she has sand in her tank. Bad mistake I found out. She was constantly getting sand in her eyes. I switched to zoo med compressed coconut fibers. Saw an improvement right away of how happy she was to be rid of that sand.

Shelley looks great. I'm glad she is doing better without the sand. Besides the downsides you noticed, I think sand makes an enclosure look too barren and not at all comfortable.
