Shell growth???

noticed the discoloring a few months back seams like more is showing up is it from his shell growing???

His shell looks fine to me...what discoloring are you referring to? Maybe some of the more experienced tortoise owners will chime in on this one.

Below the three black spots before the edge of the shell it looks like rings on a cut pice of wood
