Is this normal? What should I do? We are new to onwership. Should we increase the amount of suppliment given to him? Is there a better one then the tortoise salad topper made by t rex? Just found out my husband hasn't given it to him everyday.

I don't see anything to be concerned about. Nice even new growth lines. Russian tortoises' new growth usually looks like that (yellow and not black)

No need to increase the amount of supplement. Tortoises get a lot of their nutrients from their food. Supplementation should only be a small amount a couple times a week.
