Sheep bone for Hermann's?

A person on Instagram is feeding their baby Hermann's sheep bone. Is this really a thing? Everything I have seen says veg only. Any benefits?

in the wild, torts find what they need from many sources. Bones have calcium in them, so not completely crazy.
