So my little donatello loves laying in his water dish and sleeping. Is this because I have his water dish below the CHE that keeps his basking spot around 100? Or does he just love water?

Picture time =)

I think it is because the water dish is in the same spot as the basking lamp... I could be wrong but thats my thoughts on it.

It's good he's soaking but I'd move the basking bulb. He needs to bask where he can get warm and he won't stay warm in the water. I like to keep my basking bulb near the water but not directly over it. This way it still keeps the water relatively warm yet gives the torts a spot preserved for basking.
