He's sleeping like this... Is this safe? I mean if he put himself like that it's ok right?

Yes. But I would suggest a different bedding. One that holds more humidity. Perhaps like coco coir or eco earth.

Yup!!!

Agreed 100% with Tiff. The way of your Torts sleep are perfectly fine but the substrate are not. After you changed to coco coil. your tort will really feel like "home".

Not only is that safe, it is the cutest thing I have ever seen! Love those little tortoise butts, lol.

He is in deep camouflage and no one else can see him, like mine that insists on sleeping in flower pots that are too small for him:
