Hi all-
We adopted two Russians recently that are both 3 yrs old. One is a male (Boris) and the other is a female (Nellie). I have already read up on why keeping two torts together is a bad idea, but have not been able to find much info on how old torts are when the reach maturity. How much time do I have to re-home one of them before they begin acting aggressive and potentially harming each other?

Russians is 7-10 years to reach sexual maturity, but size play a role in that to. You don't have to rehome one of them just separate them.:) also if you want me tell you the gender of the torts just post a pic of there tails.
