Hello I was wondering is it safe for Russian torts to eat broccoli, cucumber, asparagus, tomato slices, and or apple slices?

No to most if not all of those things, dark leafy greens are best. Check out thetortoisetable.org for easy look up chart.

What do you mean by "safe"? They won't drop dead if you feed them any of those things, but none of those things are what I would consider "good" for them or a recommended part of their regular diet.
They should be eating mostly broadleaf weeds, certain leaves, and leafy greens. Add in some occasional spineless cactus pads and Mazuri, and you'd have a pretty good diet.

you need to go to the site and read, the list provided is perfect. were trying to give you a reliable source that you can just look at quickly if you have any questions, and youre not using it obviously. there are plenty of threads on here answering the questions youre asking, all you had to do was type three words into the search bar: russian tortoise diet.
