rt shell problems?

Hi I bought a russian tortoise three months ago and I am worried she has shell problems due to small gaps on each scute. she eats well and seems to be very active, so you would not think anything is wrong with her but here is a photo just in case. Thanks in advance.

I dont see a single issue. If the gaps you are referring to are what im seeing, going around each individual scute. Then good news! Your tort is growing. If you are referring to the dips and bumps in the middle of each scute then still no worries. These are very common and will never cause a problem. Just keep the new growth healthy and hydrated and youll have a happy beautiful tort.

That's just because his diet is a lot better living with you than it was where he came from. New growth.
