RIP Max

I don't know what happened.
When I left this morning he was up walking around and eating then when I got home he had passed.
His eyes were sunken in and he was limp.
I guess he was sick when I got him but he was going to the vet tomorrow for a check up.
I guess there's a reason.
At least I gave him a good 5 days.

My kids said he was walking around a few hours before I got home.
He was a rescue from a friend who couldn't keep him anymore.
I can say I gave him my best for a few days.

You did your best, too bad you couldn't get to him sooner. Turtles are hard to diagnose, it is in a good place now, I'm sure.
