RI + Dark Ears

Hello all, my Leapord tort is on anti biotics for a respiratory infection. I just noticed today that his left ear is really really dark. It's usually light colored. What's this a sign of? I want him to not go deaf. I will ask them at the vet tomorrow, but they seem to only know basics about tortoises so I wanted to check in here too. Here's a pic

Picture not very good. Be very careful with a vet that doesn't know tortoises. What are your temps and humidity? It should be 80% humidity, temps no lower then 80 day and night with basking of 95-100.
@Yvonne G may be able to help with the ear, but see if you can get a better pic
