Resperitory infection

So my turtle had a respitory infection and he's all better now but I've been sick since I started getting him better and I've been sick for a while now. I know that humans can give each other respitory infections because it's contagious but do you think my turtle could have given it to me? Sorry if this is weird...

not weird, good question.
As far as I know they can't, not an ri anyways.

I often wondered the same thing...but I came across this topic on the forum not that long ago, that its not possible. So I'm not really sure. I was sick a lot this year with I thought strep throat issues, but it wasn't that.

Hmm okay thanks! And strep throat sucks you're lucky you didn't have it! Maybe I'll just go to my doctor and see why I'm sick xD
