My turtle tried to esacpe his enclosure and hurt his foot pad/nail. The nail isnt broken, its bent back and was bleeding between the nail and web. looks like the bed of the nail is what was bleeding. Is it broken? Should I straighten it and wrap it with vet-wrap? He has an appmt. Tues. Feb. 19th but I want to do something for it now. Any sugestions.
He is dry docked right now in a tank w/no water + towels, Neosporin.
(Should I vet wrap the nail into it's anatomical position, I uderstand the importance of keeping it dry, but what about the condition of the foot, is it broken or will it just fall off, Vet-wrap or not?)
Thanks: Native Plant
