Just got back from the Chicago Herp Society Reptile Fest. First, sorry, I forgot a camera I had a good time going and seeing the reptiles. It's a nice show, no selling, just for education, mostly. However, I could not believe the way a couple people were housing their torts and the mixed species. Most did say it was only for the show, not sure that's really safe. There were two I wanted to go nuts on. The one still used rabbit pellets and had boxies with a russian The other had bins with three different species together. Leopard, marginated, and two redfoots. I tried, but am sure I didn't get any info through the idiot look on their faces. I am angry though that these kinds of people are trying to educate the public through a reptile society venue. They should know better, ugh Luckily, there were better educated tort owners there giving out good info
