Rejected hide hut!

Bogart has recently stopped using his hide hut. I thought maybe it's dirty or something. Changed his substrate, nope still won't use it. Temps are the same at night staying around 85-88. I'll either find him sleeping underneath the heat lamp or on the other side of the tank. I can't tell if he is cold or what? He sleeps everywhere but his hide and he used to be in it every night! That's what is weird! Any thoughts on why he doesn't anymore?

It's a clear plastic tub type thing I cut the entrance out of. I put spagmoss inside. He liked it before

He wants to keep you guessing. You can try making it darker or just keep putting him in it at night and see if he will then start using it again. Are you sure it's not too small for him or maybe the opening is too small, just a thought.

Haha I know. Sometimes he gives me this look like, "umm excuse me, what do you think you are doing? No I don't want to soak, no don't pick me up, no I don't like my picture taken, no eww no....ooo yay mazuri!!!"

I'll see if he uses it tonight with the heat pad off.
