I love iguanas. Having one was more than enough for me though.

I saw this guy at work, yesterday. He's not red.
But they are everywhere.

I had never seen them when I lived there in the early 90's. What happened? Is this like the Everglades python situation?

They are very common here. Though most have not grown to be true six footers.
A cold spell a couple years ago killed off most of the giants.
These are Florida bred and born. Not released pets, but the result of pets being released decades ago.
It's the last ten or fifteen years that they have been so very common.
