I believe it only takes two to tango :p However, pairs are a hard thing to set up in a harmonious fashion.....so if you are wanting more than one and want to breed, you will likely get better results with 2 females to 1 male or 3 to 1....However, I would see what the others think that ACTUALLY breed these little beauties....so my post will bump your thread....ready?....BBBUUUUMMMMPPP :p

In my experience I have found that the best results come from groups. I have a large group but it can be done successfully with a smaller group. For a good breeding goup I would suggest having a 1:2 or 1:3 male to female ratio. I started out with just a pair but they didnt breed much at all. When I got more and had to males, the breeding steadily increase. Having atleast 2 males has definitely helped because they will view it as a competition! :)

Like they said, groups get the best results. The general rule of thumb is to have at least two males (they spur competition that way) and more females than males. 2 males and 3 females is usually considered a decent 'herd'.
