Recently fighting?

Hi my two russians and they are used to live together but very recently my big tortoise has been biting my other one in both leg and head is this normal or do i need to do something i am just worried that my smaller one might get a disease from some of the bites

Tortoises, especially Russians, are solitary, territorial creatures that should never be kept in pairs. They need to be separated ASAP, and each given their own properly sized(8x4 foot)enclosures.

You need to separate them RIGHT NOW. Today. Tortoises should never be kept in pairs, and Russians are one of the worst for this.
