Ramming

I was petting my baby on her front legs EXTREMELY soft usually she likes this but today she rammed me! Please explain if you can.

Most likely it was a defense mechanism. You didn't do anything wrong. It is a behavior they sometimes do instinctively to keep"things" away.

Ramming can be as a result of a number of things....got the tort all excited :p or tort felt a moment of dominance as previously mentioned...and sometimes they appear to do it, well, just because they can....I have a redfoot tort here that gets his kicks from doing this...he plants his back feet in and leans into the ram...I love it, they can be very funny....however, not so funny once the tort is a biggen...
