My tortoise has just peed and it came
Out pink I've only had it a day can this just be down to what the pet shop was feeding it ...

Some foods can miss colour pee...
But i really don't have a clue...could it be blood?

It could be, I would watch it for a few days and see if it goes back to normal with a better diet. You could also take it to the vet if you feel concerned..

high consumption of dandelions can make their urates pinkish.

It could be because of the food. Some of the food dyes in pelleted items, dandelion greens, and a few other plants can cause this. I would keep and eye on it and keep the tortoise well hydrated, watching to see if it goes away. I would also ask the store what they were feeding.

To be honest I aint that concerned as it's so active been running around all day and has been eating like a horse I'm sure if it stays on a proper diet it will be fine rite?

Just saying if it was housed in a pet store, I seriously doubt it was getting dandelion greens, but they can cause it, so just throwing it out here.
