Hey guys, just wondered if anyone knew what this is? It's Levi's new favorite in my parents pool yard...just wanted to make sure it was ok since he seems to think it's the bees knees and is eating a ton (he passed up a dandelion flower for it! 
). It has a purple inflorescence of flowers that makes me think it's alfalfa related.
I just realized that this pic makes it look like that's all he has to choose from but that's just a bit of dead rye grass...but my parents are big believers of green=lawn so there at least 10 weeds from where I'm sitting, literally, it's beautiful out so me hydra and Levi are sitting in the sun, I miss Michigan but sun and teeshirts in December will never get old
