Question about Pyramiding

My baby Sulcata is (estimated) 5 months old. We've been soaking daily, and making a point to keep him humid and warm. As far as I can tell, he's progressing nicely. That being said, I've been wondering what we should look for in terms of early signs of pyramiding. He seems smooth for now, but what are the early signs that we should look out for?

You will see the top layers of the scutes start to raise a little...almost like the way a pyramid is built (hence the term I suppose). If you are keeping your baby warm and humid then it shouldn't be an issue. You can post a photo of your tort if you want to know if it has any signs of pyramiding.

One of the earliest signs of pyramiding in a baby would be the formation of a deep notch between the scutes.
