I live in New York and since the weather has gotten warmer I take my tortoise outside for fresh air. I've had a problem she keeps trying to eat pebbles has anyone had this problem and if so any suggestions?

I haven't but others have and they give miner-all and have had great luck with it.

Do you offer a cuttlefish bone in the enclosure? It's wonderful that you are providing outdoor time - the natural sunlight is SO good for your tortoise.
If this persists, you may consider letting your tortoise have outdoor time in a more controlled environment, e.g. a kiddie pool with drain holes drilled in, filled with dirt. This way you don't have to worry about it wandering off (they can be fast little buggers when they want to!), and don't have to worry about him eating pebbles etc. either. In the long run, a raised-bed type outdoor enclosure would be awesome too, and you can just make sure only to put things in there that you know are safe.
