Hi everyone! "Scarlett" is 7 months old now. I purchased her last October. She is my first tortoise. Like many first time tortoise owners I had a learning curve in humidity and temps in the beginning. My humidity now averages 80% - 96% so I should be okay but can you see the beginning of little bumps on her shell? Should I be worried?

Are you talking about the "pebbled" texture on the areola (the brown colored middle of each scutes)? That's normal and I've read it goes away over time (let me know if you need citation on that). Your red's shell doesn't look bad at all. Since you've upped the humidity decently early, there's nothing to worry about.

Yes. That texture was my concern. Thank you! ;) I feel better now.
